Boozhoo!

Wahnapitae First Nation has created the Anishinabek Student Support Worker (ASSW) role; they are responsible for providing support and aid to our on-reserve students from Wahnapitae First Nation who attend provincial schools off reserve. The ASSW is responsible for supporting our students in achieving their academic goals, following education pathways, and supporting student success and student well-being. The ASSW works closely with Wahnapitae First Nation education staff, parents/guardians, and any other partners who support the educational journey of Anishinabek students.
