JOB POSTING: Bus Monitor - Part time

REPORTS TO: Director of Education

TERM: Part-Time

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

The Bus Monitor works in cooperation with the WFN Education Department to monitor the students on the school bus. Under the Supervision of the Education Director, the incumbent will serve as a resource for students and bus drivers, so they get to school and home in a safe manner. The Bus Monitor’s work schedule is determined by the normal school year and is subject to regularly scheduled PA days and holidays including; March break, winter break, and summer break.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the department Director the Casual Driver will provide community transportation to community members to help provide transportation for education, medical and essential services, on an as-needed basis.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

The Fleet Manager/Mechanic is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of Wahnapitae First Nation’s fleet of vehicles. They ensure that all vehicles are in safe and working condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. The Fleet Manager/Mechanic also manages a team of mechanics and coordinates with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the fleet.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Under the direction of the Health Director, the Land-Based Worker will coordinate and support all aspects of cultural knowledge and planning within the Land Based Program. The Land-Based Worker provides traditional teachings and life skills, traditional activities, and ceremonies in a safe and acceptable environment and coordinates access to elder and traditional people to meet the needs of the members of Wahnapitae First Nation.
